I also recommend usingSmart Update Pingerplugin which will ping these services only when you post the article not when you edit it. It also has one cool feature - you can check smart-update-pinger.log file found in your wp-content folder of WordPress installation and see if any services refuse ping request for your site. In that case you can simply remove them from the list not to waste time pinging them.

Hi nice list. One question though. WordPress comes with Ping-O-Matic already in the list. Doesn’t Ping-O-Matic automatically ping these sites for you?

I have heard that so many pings are considered as ping spam. Is this list ping spam free? I am sure it is but it just to watch out with google rss matters…the list is great anyways.

That is a very long list! But i prefer to ‘bookmark’ it on those site by myself. Seems to be more effective at attracting traffic. What do you think?

The list is too big for me and chances r there that you end up pinging one site many times n getting banned b鈥檆oz multi pinger sites like pingomatic.com automatically ping many other sites in the list.

Just curious want to you knew one thing else concerning the large blogengine update that鈥檚 coming up soon? I鈥檓 attempting to succeed in out to over webmasters to look for out what they know the explanation that Google hasn鈥檛 listed no matter new on it for awhile.
